Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I have wanted to be a fire fighter since i was 6 when my grandfather passed away he was on the fire department along with many other members of my family...Family tradition
Hello from FL . I lived on n.14th st. it is a nice place to live.also lived in Hawthorne most of my life, was on the squad there.Well u have a safe day and stay low.
I joined mine during the same year, learned a lot till I started going to train the trainer classes, now am a LT and training officer in that short time. Time sure goes by fast when having fun. Love every minute though, looking to get into a paid dept.
so much fun I thought it might be good to get paid to do what I love rather then the dead ender I've been working. still wanna be a volly also, commited to my calling
I'm doing good just got home from working the warehouse gig, every thing is good out my way, and am studying for the test.,,,,,I think I got it hands down,,I'll let you know
Hiya and how ya doin, here's an update, broke my arm last week on monday and now going in for surgery today at 1:30pm to pin bones back together. Total bummer. any way just wanted to stop by and say hello
Well the surgery to put it back together went ok now I start Physical Torture on monday next week. Don't work to hard to the point of exhaustion. I just hope that I can soon lift more than one pound with the arm soon cause I'm right handed and cant even shave with out pain or help. Well see ya round and dont work too hard
Thanks for the encouragement, I've already got 2 days of it under my belt and can't wait to get the rest of my full range of motion back. The therapist says I am healing fast. See ya around
Hi Rescuegirl, things are fine here, we had a quiet Christmas (Thank God!) but the calls weren't too long about coming back to normality, so it's back to the grindstone for another year for us! How are things with you?
