Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I left the Army after 13 years of service and felt the desire to continue to serve in some fashion and the Fire/EMS service seemed like the perfect choice. My wife and I joined at the same time and have identical certifications except one area, she is a rope technician and I am a fire investigator, I did enough of the "tangle&dangle" rope stuff in the Army, my only regret is not getting in sooner. The most rewarding part of the Fire service for me is teaching.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Aside from being the greatest job possible, I love teaching others the trade.

    things are pretty good,
    im a firefighter in brookfield fd in trumbull co now , were alot busier than the other 2 depts i was on put together , im looking for a 2nd job because i only get 4-7 days a month at brookfield.
    im taking the asvab for the army on tuesday .

    i was thinking medic or mp.
    my dad was 82nd MI ,and my fiance was in the marines , ten went to the army and became an mp , she was discharged because she dislocated both of her ankels , and also a gap in the lower part of her spine she fell off an inverted wall.
