Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Well. I joined because 11 years ago I saved my sons life. He was apenic (at 2 weeks old) There was a blizzard. I called 911 fire got stuck a block away, ambulance was stuck a block away as well, (2 different blocks) then PD well that was not even an option.
So the Army came to get us. I had him breathing again. However It scared the hell out of me. I realized later that I did not want to feel so helpless again. I decided to take an EMT class. So I did. And I fell in love with it.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
It is what god wants me to do. Plus I LOVE it. I enjoy making a difference. I have an AWESOME bed side mannor. Just PLEASE dont whine.
