Hi Debby,
Fire Fighters love what they do, it's a way of life, that has been passed down through generation to generation. Willing to step up when that call for help comes. I wouldn't want it or know it any differently.
The last time I was in California was in May of 2005. It was my second visit to CA. I don't know when, I'll get back out that way again. However, I never pass up a chance to travel.

No I have never been to California,as a matter of fact I have never been any farther west than the state of Ohio.I have been to every state here on the east coast thou.

Thanks for the add, and if I ever get to CA, I'll be sure to look you up. We're getting snow tonight here in MD, so I might get called out...people around here don't know how to drive in the snow. When I lived in NJ, we used to get some pretty bad snowstorms and people were a bit more careful driving through the snow. Stay Safe and be careful out there!

Sorry, I dropped the ball yesterday. It's just been a crazy week. Our chief's 9 year old son passed away suddenly. So, I was busy with somethings I had to get done, then I got paged out & didn't get back to FFN.
Visitation as tonight, the funeral is tomorrow night.
This has drained me quite a bit.

Hi Debby,
The weather up in NJ is cold and wet according to my sister, been pretty much the same way here in MD too, we even had snow and some freezing rain the other day. I remember seeing on the news and reading in the paper about the bad fires you all had there in L.A.. Those folks worked extremely hard to get the fires out! My dept. held a drill today to train with our new Res-Q-Jack system, it was fun and informative.
