Anyhow if you didn't get it by now I'm a bit of a self promoted comedian, ( as in I'm the only one finding them funny), but that's why I'm a fireman, so I can pay the bills. I love my career and wouldn't give it up for the world!

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Because i enjoy helping others, and enjoy doing the job.....Im a 6 year old kid living his dream at 30 years of age...lol
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I get to play with the big truck......(kidding Of course its that im helping out my fellow citizens at they're time of grave need....)
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Training versus Experience...trained firefighters are good, trained and experienced firefighters are better....., and Sexism still in the fire service? why? There's lots of chica FF's ( no disrespect to my sisters) that can handle they're own and are good, why are there still some of us men worried about losing out to an female? Best firefighter for the job, doesn't matter race, creed, color, sex, religion, ethnic origin (Course we all know us Irishmen and women make the best firefighters LOL) if you can do the job and rock then do it! Nuff said....

    hey, thanks for the comment...its going ok here in sunny Idaho, but we can all smell the smoke from the fires burning in the hills.....drives me crazy not to be out there, but hopefully a few more months of PT for my leg, and more healing to my eyes and lots of prayer and I will be back out on the front lines doing what i love!! How is everything in Wyoming? wide open spaces out there!!1

    sorry its been forever since I signed in to FF nation. I am sortof back on my fett. Still in PT but doin' great. Went back to TN for a while to my old FD and went on some calls. IT felt GREAT to be back!! hopefully soon all will be well and I can go back to work.
