  • Chad King

I'm home now. I got out off work @ 7am. I drive about 33 miles to work one way. I know, It is expensive with the price of gas; but some of the products I work on are used in Oil Refineries.

Hey hun how is your day going?
  • Chad King

Weekend was good. I took my son to FF day at the America's Fair in Hamburg, NY on Friday. Fire/Rescue personnel were admitted free. A lot of companies near Buffalo, NY marched then parade of apparatus to the tune of the good ol' Federal Q. We meet my parents on Saturday for family day. My son pretty much camped out at Kiddieland full of rides. Congrats on the new job. Not many opportunities to go "Paid" around where I live. Back in 2003,I made it on the list for Gwinnett County, GA. Didn't get the call though. Congrats again on the new position. You'll have to keep me updated. Take Care.

Hey you. Kinda close to your area. I'm over here in Louisiana on deployment. Thank goodness we were not needed. Our teams did some salvage and overhaul work for the local residents. We are demobing tomorrow. I can't believe they want to release us when IKE is about to hit Texas! Anyways, I hope all is well. By the way, I have never seen so many different bugs in my life!!! And I have never been bitten by so many different bugs too. Take care. Robert

My brother was a Captain at the Beckley PD while I served with the BFD, so just a little jab a him as his son is now a vol. fireman.
  • Chad King

How is everything at Butner? Staying busy with training? Take Care.
  • Chad King

Do you split your time with the PD and FD in your new job? Do you respond with the FD, if that day you work for the PD? Just wondered how that would work. Crazy me.
