Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Family tradition, plus I felt a calling to help my fellow man.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I consider it to be my Christian Ministry to help my fellow man. Also, I'm the third generation of my family to serve. My grandfather started way back in 1937, with my dad, uncle, and cousin all following.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
I feel that our biggest problems are the lack of willingness of the public in general to volunteer their time and the resistance of employers to work with our volunteer responders.
Lee, welcome to the FF Nation. I am glad you dropped in to join the group. Dont be shy. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Takes a bit to kinda figure it all out but you will be glad you did. Have fun and look around.
