I love helping people, and like many my age, I went down to the WTC ground zero for 2 weeks in October 2001, with some friends of mine from my Volley Squad-at that minute I knew I was hooked.

    Hey Scott,
    its nice to meet you. and thanks. no one really acknowledges the coast guard auxiliary. its actually something a lot of people haven't heard of until i meet them and we talk about it. so it feels good to have someone who actually knows about it. it is pretty fun to go out on the boat. no. we aren't really like the coast guard... but we help them out a lot. been in that for 3 years in December. kinda gets warn out after a while. and, yeah. i love firefighting. i don't know where id be without it.
    but once again. it was nice to meet you and thanks. have fun and be safe out there.

    heyy, ya lifeguarding is pretty fun lol =) I am kinda past that now lol and i love the rush of firefighting its one of the best things ever. right now i am in college getting my mechanical engineering degree and my arson investigation degree =) Do you only do firefighting or ems also?

    well i used to be fire only but now that i'm joining another department i am getting to use my ems certification... so yeah i get to respond to a lot of calls now and i'll get to see some action and get some experience... well keep in touch...
