I will be the commissioner of Chicago at some point.
I've enjoyed attending FDIC a couple years in a row and learning about drinking habits and Indi's chile.
I've also enjoyed taking John Salka's Get out Alive class at Baltimore FH Expo with the fellas from FDNY..
About Me:
I love the gym, alcohol, bodybuilding competitions, bluegrass, tattoos and motorcycles.
Day Job:

Relationship Status:
In a Relationship
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I actually planned on being a mechanic or a truck driver, but was lured in at Stark State by the shiny firefighting videos they played on career day.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
It puts hair on my chest... which I cultivate and condition with chest hair serum.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Lack of funding and education. Poor pay and benefits.
Lived in West Virginia all of my life and love the area. I am in the Northern Panhandle, Glen Dale. The same town where Brad Paisley is from, actually his dad is the Assistant Chief and President of my department.
hmmm it was a little chilly her this morning. Are you sure you want to trade lol. I mean you are cloes to the beach lol. I have an aunt that lives in Ermo SC.
Hi Sarah, Leo from Australia, Paramedic, Welcome to FFN hope U enjoy the site and gather many friends. If U send me your postal address via my Email I will post you one of my service badges, its LECAR1@BIGPOND.NET.AU; it's just easier to read in upper case BUT please send/use in lower case.
Cheers Leo
mmmmmmmmm drinking in the mountains can be fun also. Especialy outside in a hot tub lol. Knoxville was hiring not that long ago. Do you want to fight fire full time or do something else? Let me know and I'll see what I can find out for you if you want. Take care and stay safe.

I like your style.

You just can't rationalize with them.
You got cool pics, too.

Thanks for comments and support...Glad you're making further use of the materials....
PS. Thanks for pointing out my "error"....apparently think about the other scenario I was preparing...surprised others didn't catch on quicker..Thanks again. Stay Safe and watch your back and partner..
Ouch, double ouch, and...well you get the idea. Yup, we suck this year, and probably for a little while. I am south of A2 by about 40 minutes, been to the "BIg House" lots of times, frickin' cool. We also have Michigan International Speedway in our county, so we get some cool stuff in our little neck of the woods. BTW, I'd like to see how your project turns out when you get done, keep in touch. GO BLUE!
It's great... I love all of the guys up at the station they are like my brothers ya know. It's fun and great that I can start early on what I want to do for the rest of my life ya know. Do you guys have a cadet program where you live?
Not really... I am what you would call an explorer. See I can't go on calls or stuff like that. I don't get payed I just go to training and holiday parties and live fire trainings. We also have extracation classes that I can participate in. It's really fun though.
ya it is. I love it. at first I thought I would stand out because there is only two girls. there is me and a volunteer fire fighter and I thought ya know the guys like wouldn't talk to us but really we talk to the guys more than we talk to each other. ha
Sarah, I will do my best and see if I can obtain his e-mail. I just need to make a few calls and hopefully I will have some luck You take care and the BEST of LUCK in your next competition :)
Its nice to see and hear people, who are as dedicated, and take as much pride as it seems you do in your fittnes and training. Congradulations, good luck, and be safe.
Hilton Head is pretty good. Things are really busy - and that's prior to calls.
We are in the process of putting an entire fleet of new engines in service with all the training that goes with it. Our training center is being built, and Station 5's new station went to pre-bid today. We just updated our EMS protocols, and we have a hazmat tank truck emergencies class coming up in two weeks.
We just finished a Lieutenant promotional exam and assessment center, and we're testing firefighter candidates on Saturday.

Life is good.
How is St. Andrews?
Be careful out there.
