Why I Joined Fire/EMS
After leaving a City Council meeting one night a member of the FD was there to show off the new defibs the department had just purchased. I asked if they needed volunteers he said sure, I applied, it then turned to a paid position and I wouldn't trade a minute of it. Iloved the challenge of the runs, serving the community and meeting the friends and wonderful people I was blessed enough to meet.

Safety, respect both outside and inside departments, politics, drama.

    Yes, I know Ryan, he works for me. He is a good kid. Everything is good here, both of my kids are in college. Christy is in school in New York City this semester. She graduates this year. Kelsey is finishing up her first year. Got >3 years to go before I retire. I'll probably work a little longer.
