Hello there... I was in the city a few years ago to visit ground zero..... grew up on the island and lost a few friends there. It was a hard trip but it was time. Anyway my friends and I want to see the 10 remaining volunteer departments in the city so we included them in the trip . We got to see 5 out of the ten. I didn't get to visit yours. Maybe next time I am down I will see if I can stop by. Hope to hear back from ya . Tony
Hi Tony,
That would be great. We are in a small town called Broad Channel , Queens. Between Howard Beach and the Rockaways. What vollies houses did u visit.
George
It is a 1969 Seagrave Wagon with a 5-speed that served Kentland E-33 for many great years.
Thank you very much for writing and it was great meeting you.
Take good care and be safe Bro.

NY fitrefighter's are the best. At least we think we are. =-) I didn't know there were any vol departments in the Brooklyn area. That is awesome. My sister live down there for years going to law school.
Lol yes .. Not ur common every day job but one hell of a jo at that ... I like to think of myself more as MOM to a bunch of baby duckies(fire fighters).. good boys but they always need some one to talk to and keep them out of trouble.... I love them all and have earned much respect from them ... almost as much as i have FOR them :) ... God Bless you all stay safe my friend ..
