I started out in a volunteer dept that had a fire tax. It was real nice not having to fund raise. Yes now being a paid guy the taxes of the city pay for the 130 firefighters in the department.

    Thanks bud!!!!! How are you?
  • Jesse 202

Ohh....okay, I didn't find out until Thursday night when I was at class about a class that Chillicothe Fire was putting on but I had already scheduled one of my Ambulance Shifts for Friday, so I wasn't too happy cuz our instructor is the chief of that place and didn't let us know yet it was open for all agencies. It was on grain bin rescue. I thought that it would be a good class for some of us to attend out of our county since we have had 2 farm related accidents in the past ohh......6 to 9 months.

The Quarter auction is at home business vendors that set up and people bid on your items. The highest amount they bid is .75 for an item worth $75.00 or more. Then they pull a number out of the bucket and you bid and it is your number it is your item. Usually a crowd of 200 people and with all the people bidding it is a great money maker. If you would like more info let me know

Our new "baby" should be delivered on Friday. It's a little to cold now for a wetdown so we will have to wait until the water won't freeze solid.
