About Me:
I moved to Medford from Weatherford, OK in 2006 with a degree in accounting and took a job with an accounting firm in Enid, OK. I decided last year that I wanted to get involved with this community and had an interest in firefighting although I had no knowledge of the displine. The course for Firefighter 1 was offered shortly after I started and I took full advantage of gaining all the knowledge possible.

I've been married for 10 years, 11 this June, and have two teenage step-daughters and one 3 year old toddler of my own. Yep, you guessed a house full of women. I figured if I could manage a household like this firefighting should be easy.

I currently still hold membership with my church in Weatherford , Servants Heart Community Church.

I enjoy getting in the gym and staying in shape, and can't wait for the next fire call. I really have a passion for this career field and am constantly striving to learn more to be the best that I can be.
Day Job:
Accountant
Relationship Status:
Married
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Passion to help people, and always as a kid dreamed of being a firefighter.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I always would drive by the scene as regular citizen, but I've always wanted to be on the scene first hand.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Our biggest issue being a volunteer department would be the funding for equipment. We do the best we can with what we have, and we get the job done, but there is other equipment out there that would be very helpful to the department. You just have to choose what is absolutely necessary, take care of what you have, and hope for a nice grant the next year.

Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Takes a bit to kinda figure it all out but you will be glad you did. Have fun and look around.
