Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Grandfather, dad, uncles, etc. all firemen. Taught from an early age we should help our neighbors, this is how it was done when I grew up. I volunteer because you should give back to your community.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Helping save lives or providing help to those who need it.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Hours and hours of training. Dangers of the job when on or responding to a call. Everyone needs to look out for the fire, rescue, and police while they are on the scenes of accidents, fires, or when we are responding to render aid to someone who needs us.

Cindy, welcome to the Nation. I am glad you dropped in to join the group. Dont be shy just jump in anywhere and get your feet wet. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Takes a bit to kinda figure it all out but you will be glad you did. Have fun and look around.
