EMT, EMT-I, Paramedic... Firefighter 1 and 2. And severeal other certs.
About Me:
I used to work full time Fire/EMS here in Concordia. I didnt think i could see myself doing anything else. But now i am going through the paramedic to RN bridge and loving it. I have two little girls who are the sunshine in my day. I am an outgoing person with alot of heart.
Well i just sort of fell into it. I was working a night job and one of the volunteers from the fire dept came in and told me they were doing agility testing that weekend and said i should come down. I thought about it for a while and thought "why not" so thats where the journey began. Fell in love with it and waa-la here i am today!
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I get to meet so many different people, wether it's the pts, hospital staff, or fellow ems. Everybody brings something different to the table.
Hi Angela, I’m a retired Fire Chief and understand the importance of health & fitness for our responders. I joined FF Nation to share my incredible wellness story with everyone. Fitness is only a part of the equation; internal wellness is the real essential for healthy responders. Many of us need to get healthier. If you’re interested in more information about this life changing program please send me an email at: John@IncidentMT.com
Thanks, John
Angela, welcome to the Nation. Glad you dropped in to join the group. Your involvement and participation here is important to us all. Dont be shy just jump in and get your feet wet. You will get out of this what you put into it. Lots to do, read and become involved with here. Have fun and be safe.
