A single mother who's ambitions are inspired by her son. I am stationed at Station 1, located in Downtown Raleigh. It is the busiest station in the city. I am currently single. In my spare time I love to spend time with my son, cook and volunteer with his school, church or fire department events.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
To set and achieve a high physical and mental goal for myself to make me stronger and provide an example for my son.
Hello neighbor, from Knoxville TN. I have a friend of mine that's a Paramedic and instructor in Raleigh FD. She's originally from here and was with the Rural/Metro Explorer's as a youngun. Hope you enjoy the site. Feel free to add me if you want.
Thanks for the compliment. The boys are my buddies, even as they keep getting older. Friend's name there is Tara. Worked ambulance for several years and I think she's off the road doing EMS training full time now, but don't quote me on that. If you have myspace, you'll see my page here. Feel free to send me an add request.
there is a chat room on here. just click on the chat icon and it'll take you there. apparently, you have to keep clicking on the email icon to check for new mail. I don't think it lets you know automatically that you have a new message. I'm going to the chat room now. Maybe see you there

Great looking tiller. Hi I'm an instructor in NC from Winston-Salem. I was just at Cary FD doing a train the trainer for the CERT program. My parents live close by you at Fearington Village, if you are familiar with that area of 15/501 at Pittsboro. Do you do any rescue specialties or are you involved with your USAR team. Just sent a request to you. I guess thats enough for now. Take care. Jim
Hello from Asheville! Thanks for the add hope things are well in Raleigh. You mind if I ask, but can you lead me in the right direction to applying with Raleigh, I have some real close friends that live in Holly Springs and i'm looking to moving there in the near future. Thank You
Thank you for the assistance it's greatly appreciated. I've been wanting to apply with Raleigh for sure quiet awhile just wasn't sure where to start. Me and my fiance come down there about once every three or four months to see a special needs child she used to take care of when he lived here in Asheville, that we completely fell in love with. The more we come to Holly Springs and Raleigh the more we love the place. That and I'm ready for a big city job in the fire service, I love working for county departments but times have changed so much and it's so hard to go to work and have deal with the problems between volunteers and paid staff. Well, sorry to be so long winded might need to use the message board instead. But bye for now, stay safe and your son is just the cutiest child wearing the turn-out gear. Future fireman in the works :)
Just thought I would stop by and say hey!!! How are things going in Raleigh well i hope!!! Still hoping to come that way soon and apply, ready for a change, if u know what I mean!!! Well, going for now Stay Safe!
Thank you for the help it's greatly appreciated!!!! Just as soon as I can find a way there i'll be there, just got a few things to work out here first. Workin the ambulance today so gotta go for a while talk to ya soon and stay safe!
i totally get the spiritual fufilment... not many would agree, i think, but i think that's the best way to describe how i feel too. nicely put. it's so much more than a career, it's a life style, it's a way of life. i am happy to see someone on here that feels this way. safe travels, and hope you have a good one!
