Tallahassee FD covers about 702 sq miles and serves approx. 272,000 residents,the State Capitol, 2 Universities & 1 state college. We have about 280 online personnel working out of 15 stations.We have the regional HazMat Team, USAR team, a Technical Rescue Team, and an award winning Extrication Team.We have 6 ALS stations. My '2nd' home was Station 6 for almost 10 years.I was moved to station 3 from there and now find myself on a floating shift, but enjoying it.
About Me:
I love working in the capital city, but live a half hour away in Monticello with my husband, 2 horses and 6 cats. I love my job. Was recently promoted to Lieutenant after enjoying the past 6 years as an Engineer...more adventures to come!!
