Why I Joined Fire/EMS
My dad got me interested into EMS around 16 and knew some people with Gary Fire Dept so I got to ride around with them which really made me interested. Then joined a Vol. Dept when i was 18.

I was the first in my family to get into this field, and I've since dragged my brother into it, and I have a sister who is counting the months until she graduates and can get onto my volunteer fire dept. I also have dragged one of my best friends onto the dept, though she says she was already interested since her brother got on about the same time I did.
