    Hi Dale , I am with Randall County Fire/ rescue and work as a paid EMT-P for Amarillo Medical Service . As far as I know all you have to do is take a formal refresher course and present the papers from the state Health Service Dept to your regional EMS person and that will start the ball rolling. I have heard of a couple of people who went inactive and then recerted and are currently working in a small town up here in the panhandle. Good luck with getting recerted.
