    Hi Jay,

Where is Baldwinsville in comparison to monticello NY
  • Jay S. Woodruff

Baldwinsville is about 12 miles northwest of Syracuse. Monticello would be about 125 miles southeast of Baldwinsville.

HI Jay. I'm not from NY, but have strong family ties to Moyers Corners FD. Spent LOTS of time in the area as a child and get back every once in awhile now, but not as often as I'd like.
    Stay safe!

Hey Bill! Nice to hear from you. I'm fairly new to this site as well so I'm still learning. All is going well with the fire dept. Everyone is trying to keep up with the times and all of the development going in in our district. I've been busy with the town wide fire training program since Feb 2004 which includes NYS FF1 and FF2 programs. We have 20 firefighters from seven departments in the town that will be graduating from the FF1program in late March 2008. Where are you located these days? Do you belong to a fire department in your area? Stay in touch.

    Hi Jay -

We used to have a high school based Firefighter 1 program in our county through the BOCES system. I'm interested in learning more about your program after I read about it online on one of the B-Ville related news sites.

    Perhaps we can collaborate.

Drop me a line when you have time to chat. You can call my office at 716.681.7111 or e-mail fire@erie.gov to get the conversation started.

    Thanks in advance.

Stay safe. Train often. Delete Comment
