My name is Budd Dunson i am the Chief of Mineral Springs fire and rescue. We are a small town of about 1500 and cover a large rural area.I am a fulltime EMT and was part time deputy emergency manager for Howard county.I resigned to run for county Judge. The title is misleading a county judge in Arkansas is the county administrator.I hope through that job to help all of our emergency service personell in the county

I don't know if I know you or not. We could possibly have taken some classes together. I've been around for 10 years now and been all over taken classes. Yes, Oak Grove has definately grown. We have lots of subdivisions now! Businesses too.

If you are looking for boats,The forestry donates them free of charge. You supply the pump and stuff. All you really have to do is apply. If you need help, let us know.Be safe.

Just trying to keep it in a tight circle. Sort of getting headaches with this pre-registered certified firefighting training.

Hey Bud, if you have the need for more boats, we can get you the info on who at the forestry to call.,They have been wonderfull to us.Be safe.
  • Ray Edwards

Sorry it took so long.I wanted to verify who you would need to talk to.Bill Barnes would be your contact at (501)622-8246.The person that is at the top is Bob Summerville.Bill will get you in touch with him.Basically again , the program is as follows. You identify your needs and apply for a boat. The boats come without fire supplies. You will have to outfit it.The boats are available to depts. as they arrive. They have to be docked in a covered dock. You agree to train yearly with all of us.We get together once a year. The newer boats go to the existing programs first.Hey , we got two great boats for our first as the pictures show.Alot depends on how you put it together.Bill can help more or if you have questions, let me know.Be safe and God Bless.
