About Me:
I am a training junkie. I love to train in anything I can. I have been to FDIC, which is coming up again in April, (Yeah), and State Chiefs in June. I do go to EMS trainings like, Vital Signs and Step. My great Love is more the fire side, (sorry you emsers) I really Like the red, before the white. I believe that as a good firefighter you need both to get the job done.
Day Job:
American Red Cross - I am the Vampire
Relationship Status:
In a Relationship
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Being that my father was a chief, uncles and grandfathers were all in the fire service, I feel it is in my blood. Not to mention that I can't stand the feeling of not knowing what to do. It is the most amazing feeling when you put the gear on, airpack goes on, and you have your tool of choice (halagan), in your hand running in the warm, sometimes hot building to get those people out who will die if you don't do it.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The smiles on the person's face after we helped them
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Those who don't have enough training, who have the attitude, I know what I am doing, I've done this many times. Those are the ones who will not only hurt themself, but someone else.
