About Me:
I began going to fires since I was a year old. Our neighbor Chick Tonso was a volunteer firefighter at that time in a all volunteer fire department in Northern California. My Mother would wrap me up in a blanket, jump in the Oldsmobile, and follow Johnny to every fire...

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I have been going to fires since I was a year old. Our neighbor was a reserve fire fighter and my mother would wrap me up in a blanket and we would follow Chick Tonzo to the fire. I wanted to become a fire fighter but was too short back in 1969. I am now doing want I can to support the champions of our nation with our true to the profession series.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
My respect for people that save lives...
Top Issues Facing Responders:
I feel that First Responders are more important to our Nations Homeland Security than any of our cities Police Officers are.

Fire Fighters get into locations that the Police will never see or know about and if a situation occurs that the knowledge is needed, a Fire Fighter could then bring that information forward.

I also feel that the general public does not really know what Fire Fighters, EMS or Rescue personnel really have to deal with in the job of saving lives; the deaths they see, especially children...they need to know and to understand what it is like to have to deal with incidents that they never want to have to think about again...but they do.

    David,

Great work with the show! I'm glad to see more new episodes, and can't wait to see some of the other projects.

My son and I really enjoy watching each episode together and discussing life in the Fire Service.

    Keep up the good work.

Thanks for joining my friends group, as far as a city in NC to film depends on what you are looking for. If you looking for call volume Raleigh, Rocky mount, Greenville are pretty good areas. I live in Tarboro which is a small town in eastern NC. We are a paid dept. with 21 members not alot happens here only about 300 calls a years. have a great weekend and be safe.

Hi David, I have seen the series and like it alot. If you haven't already done so, I would contact Orange County Fire Authority and talk to them. I know they are actively seeking something like this. Talk to Chief Chris Concepcion in Corporate Communications

    Take Care FyreCapt
