My name is Courtney and I am new to the fire service. I plan on become a paid firefighter/EMT in Loudoun or Montgomery County and eventually get my Medic. I love helping people and would do anything for my family. My mom and sister are my life and if I love them to death. I believe in God and know He has made Fire/EMS my calling. I'm me and I'm not going to change myself for others or kiss ass to get places. I work hard to get where I want to be and no one can take that away from me. And whoever hacked into my site and changed this to say I sucked dick and had sex with older guys and everyone else at a station. Get over yourself, don't play behind the computer. Actually have the courage to talk to me if you have a problem with me. I am not a "firehouse whore" I have enough respect for myself to not sleep with everyone around, nor have I had sex with anyone because I am a virgin. So if you hack into this site again and change stuff, remember who the more mature one truly is.
I fell/jumped out of a 3 story window at the age of 2 and God could have taken me then but He didn't. Now I want to give life to those people that still have a chance. My friends started taking me around their fire stations and the first time I walked into a station I knew I wanted to follow a career in it. I love the constant learning of the fire service. It could be from a firefighter that has been in the service longer or a firefighter that has just joined. I also love the brotherhood/sisterhood the service creates.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love helping people. And it's a constant learning process, everyone learns from each other.
Hello and welcome to FFN from Upstate NY. Good luck in all that you do and stay safe. I have a couple of guys from my company that just got hired by the City of Middletown NY FD
Yee, I just perused your pics and have come up with this conclusion of you. You are a beautiful, strong, compassionate person. You have a strong sense of self and family. You have a strong faith.
Sorry, I was interupted by the gong. As I was saying, I am thankful that you have chosen to be a part of our profession. You will make a wonderful firefighter for years to come. God bless you and keep you safe.
Thanks for sharing your story!! I'm sorry you had to go through all that, but at least you made it through and earned your respect, right? Reading about what you went through makes me feel really lucky to have a group of guys who support women who want to be firefighters! Stay safe and thanks again!
