Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined the fire service because of the influence I had with my dad being a paid assistant chief with Westwego Fire Department. I remember waking up to calls as a little girl and it was always my dream to follow in his footsteps. So here I am, paid with Little Caillou Fire Department.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

Someone said to me Girls Can't Do This, and I love challenges

Scene Safety...we must remind all responders over and over that we cannot assist if we become the victim or person in trouble.
