About Me:

I started by joining the American Red Cross Disaster services. Then I joined the Steuben County Emergency Response Team. Then, I found out about a search and rescue team, so of course, i joined that. Finally, I decided to become an EMT. Since my department is both fire and ems, i decided i would give the firefighting a try, and loved that just as much as the ems.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

volunteer recruitment and retention, people just don't want to give time anymore!! Training and safety are always issues, as well.
