Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Its a tradition in my family, my father volunteered with Hyattsville fire dept and ended up being picked up with DCFD, its the only job I ever wanted to do, it just took awhile to get my afairs in order to pay for all the schooling, and get on the job.
I grew up around the fire service until moving to Florida once my parents divorced.

    Its great that your Mother lives so close to where I began my career. Who knows she may have been in my care when I was serving there in Jax. Good to hear from you . Tell your Mom that I said hello.
    I use to own/live at 4710 Harlow Blvd. I wonder how the old home place is ? Maybe some day after I retire I'll move back to Jax I miss it sometimes. David Bladel my husband was also a vol. at Wesconnett he may contact you too.
