Tim, I was reading your post on Ethics regarding your problem with another FF. I thought I answer on here rather then get caught up in the mayhem of responses you got. First off, no matter what you post on here, you'll going to get wise ass remarks, that inevitable. Just ignore them. I have in in the fire/ems service for more years than I care to remember. During my time I have seen people come and go, for many reasons. This person your concerned about is acting this way because deep within her she knows she can't do this, and is trying to find an easy way out while saving face. My advise if your still around her is to simply nod your head and walk away. Always try to avoid self destructive people. You will find though in EMS that even the best people from time to time seem to go a bit insane, its the stress involved in this kind of work. Good luck though Tim, and if you ever need to talk or chat, let me know. Don

Some people here just suck. Most of us want to help eachother and some are just looking for a fight. After reading your ethics blog I saw that you are young in the service and looking for advice. I tried to offer what I could. Others saw something that they could attack and try to make them selves look/feel good. Don't mind them, like Don said...just ignore them. I have had a few problems with some posts too. I just put it aside and focus on the people who are trying to help. Stay safe man, good luck -Matt

All the help I gave you guys at the training @ the Pleasent St School you don't invite me into the picture of all the recruits.
Thanks again. LOL I hope the Squad is going well for you, maybe when you're all done ride time we will be able to work together both EMS & fire.

    Have a safe weekend,
    Ralph

No problem at all. With me being the Junior Advisor and my department, I work with young people all the time. We have about 20 juniors, and I am kind of the serogate parent to most of them, but it seems to stay that way as they get older and join the ranks of the senior members. And you as well stay safe. Also, check out my web site when you have a chance: www.EMSTube.com. Later :)
