Top Issues Facing Responders:
Lack of understanding of what it is that we do, and lack of enthusiasm on the part of some members to change that perception. Another big sore point is the lack of guidance being shown to new members of the service by older hands. You are there to guide the new ones, just as someone guided you when you first began.

AMR isn't bad it's a typical private company with the typical problems. I work South of Boston so I do alot of Discharges out of Mass General Hospital, We have a decent amount of 911 contracts. The equipment is usually pretty good. hope this helps.

LSU was fun and alot better than some of the training I haved recieved in my 14 years of firefighting. I`ve talked to alot of people that has been there before me, and from the sounds of it, lots have changed. As of Jan. 2008, they have added Driver/Operator to the academy. But it was fun and I had a blast there, would love to go back and do it all over again. I`m working on my Fire Officer 1 & 2 now and hope to pass the test, I could use the pay raise. LOL.. well I added you and I hope you have a safe one. ttyl... " BROTHERHOOD "
