Why I Joined Fire/EMS
It's always been a big dream of mine since I was like four years old to become a firefighter. And well working with Fire, i got into the EMS side of things a few times and loved that just as much. It's a great profession where I get to help people and make a difference in the world.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The adrenaline rush that I get everytime the pager goes off. And being able to help someone when they are having a bad day. Wether its saving there house or Savin their life
Top Issues Facing Responders:
In the volunteer side of the service I think the biggest problems are Physical Fitness, Training, and for some departments dedication to the job. It's not a hobby; It's a 24/7 second job.
Welcome to The Nation! Wow, you are the second person from Torrington, Wyoming I've seen. Here is the funny part, I'm from Torrington CT. Jeff Schick is the other guy, and is a FFN friend. Nice to meet you.
