    Hi,

I spent a lot of time in LA as a Firefighter/Inspector for FEMA. Seven months in NOLA for Katrina and 51 weeks in Lake Charles for Hurricane Rita.

Good Luck! I'm sure you will do fine. You've picked a good profession.
  • Jerry Moore

how are you doing to day
  • Ray Purcell

You're welcome. Don't hesitate to ask for help. Anyone in the fire service worth anything will do whatever they can to help you.
  • Ray Purcell

That's gonna be some tough work. The book part I'm sure you won't have a problem with, but the physical part will be tough going dual-school. I still think you can do it.
  • Ray Purcell

Pretty much the same thing that you do now, but there are extras that you will have to overcome. Where is the fire school that you will be going to?
  • Ray Purcell

You are going to love it! LSU is one of the finest fire schools in the country. I went there in '95, and enjoyed it immensely.
  • Tom Szymik
