Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I got intrested in this line of work becasue that is what I did in the navy. I was a DAmage Controlman third class. I loved it and from there it was it and turned me into a smoke eater or soon to be a smoke eater.

    Yes I know that feeling becasue I have petella formal syndrome and that means my knee are at 90 degree angles that is until they cut the tendon that holds the knee and now I am working like new. that is also from being on steel decks of a ship all day long

    thanks for requesting to add me! I'm glad to see there are soooo many women doing this work! When I started as a Junior FF I was only the 2nd woman to ever be on that particular dept.     Thats cool you were in the Navy, thats where i had planned on going after High School but i was in a bad car accident and busted my Femur in 7 spots, so i could'nt go. Thats what turned me on to the fire dept, wanted to be apart of the fire dept that saved my life.
