i love being a Firefighter. i hope that my 2 closest friends Firefighter Keith Bradt and Capt. John Schumaker are carefull at the next struture fire. i miss my Uncle Mike. he died while responding to a 2 alarm fire. he was 1 heck of a Asst. Chief. he will be greatly missed by everyone of the Rensselaer Fire Dept.

I am a shift captain for the College Place " Vol" Fire Department, The other shift captain, is my younger brother. Captain Ben Hays. We have both been in the fire service about 10 years. Weird thing about us is we grew up in a cops family. We were the only ones that went to the fire side. Be safe and hi from your brothers in CP Washington.
