thanks guys, and fyi no I am NOT a midget... midget solely by height has to be 4'10" and I am 4'11" thank you much! and no I dont need a booster seat to drive the ambo or cruiser either..... booster seat is 4'9" lol :)

I absolutely LOVE emergency services.... there honestly hasnt ever been a time when i've freaked out on a scene, I just get in the zone and everything slows down.

I LOVE firehouse humor, even as a girl i think its absolutely hilarious, I will throw just as much crap right back at you guys as you throw at me and have a good time doing it!

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I feel I owe something back to the community. I was a 26 weeker at birth with next to no chance to live and supposedly no chance for anything resembling quality of life. Now I am 21 years old, and have no limitations due to my early entrance into the world and stint on life support.

I eventually hope to be a joint flight medic/ police officer with the Fairfax County Police Department Aviation Division once I get my butt in shape!

Until I get my butt in shape I hope to be a dispatcher :)

I had a Patella tranfer and a acl repair, and I am back to work now. I had the surgery about a year ago. It sucked bcause my leg locked up on me

What happened was they didnt want me to move myleg because hey had to cut a bone and move it over. They said if I moved it it could very well hurt me even more. My Pattella kept dislocating all the time so they had to cut the bone, move it over and put thre screws in the bone to hold it down.

Hello Marie:

Iam a retired Fire Chief of over 42 yrs. I was with a very small dept. in Santa Cruz County California. The name of the Dept. is "Branciforte Fire Protection District". There were only 5 paid personnel. There were 22 "paid-call" (volunteers) firefighters. We responded to every kinda emergency you can think of....EMS, Haz-Mat, Wildland fires, structure fires and on and on.....

I hope that gives you a nut shell idea of what I did. Oh the dept. is 70 miles south of San Francisco CA.

Christopher B. Inzana, 22, of Shongo Street, faces three counts each of disseminating child pornography and possession of child pornography and six counts of criminal use of communication facility, said state police at Coudersport.
All the crimes are felonies.

In a separate crime, Inzana was charged Friday with nine counts each of statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and corruption of minors, and four counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.

Those charges are a mix of felonies and misdemeanors.

After an Internet task force traced child pornography to Inzana, they were able to download three child porn files from his computer, police said.

A search warrant was executed for his residence, and his computers were searched.

Police also found that Inzana, secretary/treasurer of the Genesee Fire Department, had downloaded child pornography files into the station's computer.

Police said they seized the fire department's computer and are searching for the files.

Police said Inzana also is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl during the summer of 2006.

Inzana was arraigned in both cases before District Magistrate Barbara Easton. He was jailed in lieu of $75,000 bail in the case involving the 14-year-old girl and $65,000 bail in the pornography case.

He has been committed to the Potter County Jail.
