Hello to all...I am currently looking to become a fire fighter. I have spoken with the City of Minneapolis and some of the surrounding suburbs. You know how you just can't stop thinking about something and have a gut feeling that there is something out there that you are suppose to do...well that is fire fighting for me...
  • Ryan Kmieciak

good luck in your fire career. hope you find that it is rewarding and fun
  • Jeff Milton

Hi Amanda how's the fire career coming?
Don't give up. It may not pay as good but you get alot in return.
  • amanda

HELLO ALL FROM MINNESOTA...ITS CRAZY HERE IN THE CITIES AND I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT I AM PROUD OF ALL OF THE FIREFIGHTERS AND POLICE OFFICERS AND OTHER EMERGENCY RESCUE CREW. I WISH THAT I WAS OUT OF TRAINING SO THAT I COULD BE AT THE BRIDGE HELPING...ANYWAYS KEEP US MINNESOTANS IN YOUR PRAYERS...THANKS
  • Brian

hey thanks for the add stay safe and good luck with your training
  • Deron P. Wilson

    Good Luck in your career
  • Coach

You can always take your lil k-9 buddy there, and start training to find missing people. The training is difficult, but a lil safer then firefighting. And the pay off when you find a missing kid???? Priceless
  • Randy

I understand you desire to be a firefighter because you were born to be one.A little story for you.My parents divorced when I was only 2 or 3 yrs old.I didn't have much contact with my Dad.My Dad passed away about 15 yrs. ago.I was looking at some pictures of him and I found one of him in his army uniform.I asked my mother what he did in the army. She said he was a medic in Korea.Keep in mind I have been in emergency services for about 10 yrs at that time.We are all on this earth for a reason.Figure mine is to take care of others as I have been doing for the past 28 yrs.Every now and then I have a bout with deja vu,which tells me I'm doing what I'm supposed to do.Good luck and don't let anybody deter you from your "reason".Be safe.Randy
