Growing up i was accident prone/adventurous. I was always jumping and climbing off stuff. Then as i got older people at my school would come to me with their minor injuries and questions about medical stuff. I always carried a small first aid kit. So i started studying first aid and cpr at the age of 13. Then i really fell in love with rescue 911 and all those shows. It has become my goal in life to help those in emergencies. I love racing to a call even though majority of the time its social work you still get that interaction with patients and i love it.
Only you will know if you are ready to be a medic. Personally, a couple of years riding BLS will only help you to understand things better, because medic school is a tough process. Good luck with whatever you decide.
