Why I Joined Fire/EMS
When I first heard about the emergency services our local squad had only 6 running members at the time and they were recruiting volunteers. At the time, I thought what a great way to give back to the community. 20 yrs later and I am still doing it and will continue to do so.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
The lack of funding to volunteer rescue squads. Recruitment & retention of new members.

    It's in Holly Hill, which borders Daytona Beach. It is on US 1 just as you get into HH going south. It is on the west side of US 1. Party starts at 1600 hrs on the 7th of March, and goes till everyone leaves. I'm on duty tomorrow, Thur Feb 28th for a 24 hr shift. Give me a call at my station and I'll give ya my cell number. Station # is (386) 615-6034. Just ask for me. I kind of screwed my self and scheduled days to work at Daytona International Speedway for the bike races so I won't have many days off, but I will be available for evening and night rides.
