Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I had a friend that was on the fire department and seeing what he was doing got me interested. And coming from a small town I have always had the urge to help others.

Yeah I know about getting there soon, Yeah it could have been real bad, the car that is up farther missed the tree by only about 1 foot, if would have hit it, it would have flipped him upside down, then I would be putting on the dive gear instead of the gumby suit...

haha baby steps. i figured if i can get used to a water then that will set me up nicely for the fire part of this thing. lol. it may been just sandbaggin but i got such a rush out of doin everything yesterday. for the first time i actually felt like i did something to help the department.

hey thanks for the comment. and sorry i didnt make it to the class on saturday. i got a call on friday night that my lil brother was in a car accident. he and his girlfriend were fine, but she started to have contractions, so we spent most of saturday up at the hospital.
