Yeah I get to go out 2-3 times a year....I went to Florida last year on a federal engine...Was cool as shit!!! Then a damn big storm came in and dumped 6 inches of rain on us....That killed that 60k fire in the swamp....I try to go out as much as possible....Love wildland....The NPS has live burns to get rid of timber understory and fields and stuff like that.....But fire is fire baby....And I get fired the f**K up when I know I'm going out on a fire....Hit me up on yahoo messenger-Vahotshot2004. My new years was ok and worked all day new years day had a 24 hour shift and we were wide open untill about 230 am.

Tell you what, though, come summer you're in for a treat. Two words: FIRE CONVENTION. One week of getting to play on fire trucks during the day, go drinking with all firefighters at night, and waking up and doing it all over again lol. The one time each year I let myself get tipsy at 1400 lol.

Well Your Son is more important to take care of although we all hate to not make the alarms.. Well I hope your son is feeling better. I was actually home last weekend with my son and he was sick and had the rotto virus the sickness is going around..

Yes I beleive it is called rotto virus it is something that medicine does not take care of you have to just let it work it self, what happens it dehydrates you so you have to keep fluids in you. and when it passes through the stool it is a horrible smell.. My oldest son is 6 .. I love them
to death they are my angles .
