Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I never grew up so that childhood dream of being a firefighter never went away. I also watched firefighters from Local 1313 Portsmouth NH FD work on my mother when she suffered Cardiac Arrest when I was 13. Even tho' she died, the way they came storming in and got to the task like professionals struck me deep. I joined the Newington NH FD Fire Explorers months later and never looked back.
Why I Love Fire/EMS: the penison and retirement system, and that I go to work and put in an honest days work doing a noble profession and it is for the publics benefit
