    I hear you. It's cold and snowing here. No pages out, yet. However, the sun is just setting so I suspect after the sun goes down it will spark some calls. That's O.K. I'm on vacation from my day job and hope I get in on some calls, that normally I would miss out on.

    Most of the deer I've seen have been pretty skinny this year with the drought. Except for the ones on dad's hayfield of course. Lot of work for a little deer steak and jerky. Plus the chronic wasting thing. I guess I will stick to good ole nebraska beef.

    Glad to hear your alright Jenny!
    My driveway is ice undereath and then snow drifts on top.
    However, yeah, the last thing you want to have too do is call for your rescue to have to come out to the house so they can heckel you for the next months. That has happened on both departments I've been on. Especially in Colo. We were our own best customers, but when most of the people on the department are in the agriculture biz, they have a lot of accidents.
