About Me:

Hello everyone my name is Jimmy West. I've lived in Halfway pretty much all my life exciept for about 5 years. When at that point I lived 3 years in Smithsburg, 1 year in Falling Waters,WV and 1 year in Williamsport. I'm not back in halfway and loveing it. Trying to get more involed with my home dept again. Hopeing this year will be a good year for that. I'm a volunteer member at halfway were i'm a firefighter\emt-b. I'm also a memeber at Boonsboro rescue squad, I don't get alot of time to spend there but hopeing that will change also. I work 40+ hours a week on a comerical ambulance out of Williamsport. I work for Bob and Shirly Harsh at County Medical. So other than that i'm a pretty down to earth married guy. Just trying to make a liveing and enjoy my time off. This year im hopeing to start my paramedic and hopeflly be a operating Paramedic by the time i'm 23. Anything else you might want to know just ask me.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Alot of time the top issues is just trying to get there safe. With the way other drivers are now a days it's tough to get through traffic safley. Plus when were working on the road way trying to keep other crew members safe. Some of the problems we have around here is trying to work with different personalitys, but i'm shure that's everywere.
