Why I Joined Fire/EMS: After I retired (early at 51), I finally got the time to volunteer with my local fire company (West Whiteland, Station 6), as a fire police officer and as Fire Police Lieutenant.
Why I Love Fire/EMS: giving something back to the community with a great bunch of people!
Top Issues Facing Responders:: the recruitment and retention of volunteers! We need to get more involved and keep them active!
