Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I moved into a community that had a Volueenter Fire dept. and I wanted to help my neighbors (then I found out I am a really bad adrenalin junky), Not to mention Fighting fire is the most fun you can have with your pants on!!!

Saving peoples lives, Protecting property and exsposures.

Continued training, learn from other F/F's incidents. Fire service/EMS magizines, sharing with others what you have learned and searching the web sites for ones like this one (continuing education) and Always use the proper P.P.E...... "Everyone goes home" !!!!!!!

    Here in Valdez we usually get about 170 inches of snow a year, it’s great for snow machining but a pain keeping the hydrants and water valves clear! 300 on terminal and it is not uncommon to get three to four feet over night. My guys tell me Captains don’t shovel snow but I believe in lead by example (besides I can eat more turkey that way)! Have a great Thanksgiving and stay safe!

    Hi Yves,
    It's not about kicking them in the butt and MAKING them sign up...it's about bringing the message to them, lettting them decide if it's for them, and increasing the percentage of students exposed to the message.
