You can help us grow. Invite your friends and co-workers in the emergency services to FirefighterNation.com. Just use the 'Invite More' link in the userbox at the top right of the site, e-mail every firefighter you know and tell them about the new site -- or add a bulletin to your Myspace or Facebook profile!

Check out the Groups tab and join any that are appropriate -- such as your state's group -- or start your own.
Want to find friends? Quickly find other members who you may know, simply go to the search box at the top right of every page on the site, type in a keyword such as your city name, and among the search results will be highlighted member profiles.

And remember it is easy to upload Photos to the site in bulk (including mass uploads from Flickr), start your own photo albums, share videos by uploading or pasting embed code from YouTube, Google Video and more. Be sure you check out our Featured Photo Albums showcasing a sampling of apparatus and incident photography submitted by users these first few weeks.

Your Welcome! So how are things going in West Virginia?

Good, but boring. LOL I guess that's what happens when when you live in a tiny town.

LOL Well where I live isn't a town or village it isn't anything. It's called a hamlet which sounds hilarious. So what do you do for fun in your town?

Yea it's interesting. We drive around trying to find our friends and we go past the firehouse and whistle at the guys. LOL But, some people stick random stickers on stop signs. The craziest thing I've heard was some guys in northern Indiana went out and threw potatoes at stop signs and cows! LOL

Nothin but rednecks out here. lol

I love it! Everyone is just so much fun and you don't have to worry about behaving! LOL

Yea so do you plan on being a full time firefighter or are you going to be part time and doing something else.

I'll probably do part time or volunteer later in life because I won't have the time while in college and then starting at a new business will be enough to deal with. But it's definately something I want to keep in my life one way or another.

Yea im a FF in WV... im currently a LT for my dept, ive been around the fire service since i was born, ive been a member since my 16th B-Day. And the reason's i know so much bout the WV state laws about fire fighting is that ive taken alot of classes on laws and what not...

Im a Firefigher for McKinleyville VFD, were located outside of Wellsburg- towards Bethany.
