Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Love the action, but most of all helping people. It's an awesome feeling. My great uncle was a Fire Lt. for the Chicago Fire Dept. He made a huge impact on me and my family. Being a firefighter is the greatest calling in life. It makes you look at things differently
