My Dad is a firefighter so I grew up around the atmosphere since I was 5yrs. Growing up I went between wanting to be a state trooper to a firefighter. I started working towards my goal my sophmore year, going to cadet school

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I cant get enough of the high pace, and the down time. Serving in the community, being a part of something so important. And working towards my goal as a career Firefighter.

    Good choice on being a firefighter. We all have better a office. Being a trooper all you have is that little car. No bunkroom to sleep just the front seat and sitting in that car for hours on end. We all have the whole station to be in. Not to bash cops, I hear that the only reason most become cops is because they couldn't score high enough on the firefighters exam. LOL

    Don't drive to fast. We have to get there to fix the problem and I mean we get called for everything. If people don't now what to do just call the FD they can fix it. Drive safely. Any luck on a job yet in the private sector?

    Wish i could be on a beach or on the water. but fall is setting in here so my water days are about over till next year. Thats what happens when you have four seasons, unlike Texas (who freaks out when it gets an inch of snow. lol just kiddn) i hope you have a good monday!!!

    Ive never been to Texas. I work with some firefighters from texas when I was at Katrina. So how close are you to the ocean??? And I enjoy my fore seasons. That’s what makes this area so great. i love the winter cus people forget every how to drive in snow. And you know how fun “stupid people” make our jobs. But I guess you one of those drivers since you moved to a state that is flat warm!!!! (and yes im going to keep laughing it up) (-:

    Yes i did just get up from a nap, if you must know. and i enjoyed it very much!!! Im not in a very good mood if i have to get up at 6a. or even before 8a. im not a morning person at allll. so i do my workouts in the evening, not in the morning. So you can have your 6am runs and ill stay in bed. Dose that sound like a deal to you??? K GOOD!!! and as far as my smart mouth, well...... you already know what im goanna say bout that, wishful thinking on your part tho. C ya
