 Have any of you pump operators ever had the thought that while operating and having firefighters in a structure that their lives are in your hands?

 Its true think about, you control the amount of water and also control the amount of pressure at which the water flows.

    Absolutely true!  It goes both ways though...  If you stumble on your job they will have your life in their hands as they ring your neck when they get out ;-)  Stay safe.
