News is just coming in of a LODD as a result of a fire truck rolling off a roadway while responding to another motor vehicle crash.
The location where this accident has occurred is quite remote on the East Coast of the North Island.
Reports also indicate that at least one other firefighter has sustained life threatening injuries.
Please pray for our fallen comrade, and for the fellow firefighters having to deal with such a scene.

Frefighter Ray Barrett, aged 62, died when the fire truck he was in dropped off the road while responding to an incident. Mr Barrett's son Tahi, received serious leg injuries in this accident as well, and a third firefighter escaped with no injuries.
