I am trying to get in touch with firefighters who are working with a knee replacement. I need one and would like to network with those who have already been through this.

2009 Fire/EMS Safety, Health and Survival Week

Protect Yourself: Your Safety, Health and Survival Are Your Responsibility
June 14-20, 2009

Protect Yourself: Your Safety, Health and Survival Are Your Responsibility encourages chiefs and fire/EMS personnel to focus on what they personally can do to manage risk and enhance their health and safety. This year’s theme reflects the need for personal responsibility and accountability within a strong safety culture.

See our website: www.iafcsafety.org/ or our FFN Group http://www.firefighternation.com/group/iafcsafetyhealthsurvivalsection for more details.

jeff you could try getting a total gym, those are a pretty good work out tool, and you can do alot of different workouts too.

we usually do it once a year or so ... have it a surprise so when they show up they think they're gonna do class or something easy, it shows how ready they are for a call

THAT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA WITH THE AIR PACKS.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU DO THIS?
Comment by The Irons on March 10, 2009 at 3:23pm
Get them to put on packs and hit the stairs till their bell goes, repeat for another bottle then get your guys to look at how long a bottle lasts them while labor intence work... very simple training night and some might think its stupid but it worked for us!

well one good idea is to tell them to push away from the table and quite cooking so much!!
